Reverse Band Strut

Vehicles with a front-wheel-drive Chrysler A404, A413, A470 and A670 transmissions have problems with breakage of the rear band strut, resulting in a no-Reverse situation. The thin section of the OE spring steel strut often cannot withstand the force of the servo piston rod as it applies the reverse band. This material does not have sufficient yield strength to prevent the strut from bending or breaking during high pressure situations. Sonnax reverse band strut 32710-01 will withstand the force that occurs during the apply of the band.
